Friday's Best Bet: Angitude has a winning attitude in Prioress

Friday’s ninth race from Saratoga is the Grade 2 Prioress Stakes for 3-year-old fillies dashing six furlongs on the main track. Post time is scheduled for 5:39 p.m. EDT.

No. 6 Angitude (4-1) is 2-for-2 in fast track sprints. She clearly hated the slop at Churchill Downs May 6, and her most recent start was a close show finish in the restricted Wilton Stakes at one mile July 14. She is back at her winning distance and will probably stalk the pace for the productive Joel Rosario and Brad Cox team.

No. 10 Union Lake (8-1) is 2-for-2 this year and her speed rating jumped up in a local win at this trip July 23. She will probably press the issue from the outside post.
