My first trip to Saratoga in over two years was a great one. My first Travers was a blast; perfect weather, top class horses, great racing, and a fair share of thrilling finishes. Friday, of course, was tough following my girl Princess of Sylmar's trouncing in the Personal Ensign to another phenomenal filly in Close Hatches. My camera also had seen better days, having seen attacked by the ever so sweet and gentle Palace Malice (hmm, maybe that's why it quit on me during the King's Bishop...). But Saturday's card couldn't help but leave me smiling. How can a trip to the summer place to be not turn out being a good one? I hope you all enjoy my captures of the Spa on its greatest day, in my newest addition of Through The Lens!
In loving memory of Ludicrous.
